The Warrior Princess

A princess in her own kingdom
resided with a King and Queen.
Believed in magic and fairy tales,
living within the walls of dreams.
Away from a reality,
only to realize years later,
every kingdom comes with its traitors.
Kingdom fell, dreams shattered.
In the agony nothing mattered.
Tranquilized by her misery,
mum she kept.
Alone, the tears she wept.
Stereotypes cliche, deafened from her shrieks.
Pities and pains, enough she have had.
“If a war they want, a war they’ll have.” she said.
As the princess raised her weapons in the battlefield,
saw her glory, they all kneeled.
From a princess a warrior she became;
And they trembled whenever she roared.
Perceived true as they say,

‘The pen is mightier than a sword’.
